Why “SparkUpBlue”:
The Story of Our Brand.

A bright yellow lemon with a textured skin, positioned against a black background.

Once upon a time in Marrakesh, two senior executives shared a dream. They dreamt about how it would be to feel free, to do what you love every day and act with purpose greater than profit. They imagined an alternative approach to work, business, transformation: driven by purpose and designed to deliver impact. Energizing, creative, out of ordinary.

That sparked an idea. Right there and then, under the warmth of the sun high up in the sky, with a limitless horizon of the deep blue sea in mind, SparkUpBlue was born.

SparkUpBlue, an embodiment of a business with a purpose, inspired by diversity, focused on impact.

SparkUpBlue stands for freedom: freedom to explore, to forge sincere relations, to create and be authentic.

SparkUpBlue does what is right, even when no one is watching.

SparkUpBlue is a partner: with you, for you, all the way.

SparkUpBlue is our dream that we dared turn into reality.

Our Craft

SPARK is at the heart of our craft: a proprietary method that underpins how we design, align and deliver transformation.

It is a disciplined way of thinking and working that allows change in all its complexity to move forward with clarity and control.

We designed SPARK to systematically address the most critical challenges of transformation:

  • How to transform and perform at the same time?

  • How to align senior leaders and mobilize middle management around execution?

  • Where to begin and how to sustain momentum over time?

In the Scope phase, we take time to understand the organisation as it truly is.

We focus on: present state diligence, the true scale and magnitude of change, what is realistic - not ideal, expectations on timing, effort, and capacity, risks, constraints, and opportunities

This phase prevents false starts and overreach. It sets a foundation that allows execution.

In the Prioritise phase, we weigh impact and urgency to determine focus areas and sequence of events.

This includes: designing the transformation programme, identifying critical initiatives and their sequence, deciding what will not be done, establishing clear criteria for progress

This is where we set goals and establish plans. This later enables leadership to balance operational and transformational work.

In the Align phase, we work closely with leaders to create shared expectations and commitment across functions and levels.

This implies: senior leadership alignment workshops, middle management engagement programs, change capability alignment, incentive and accountability design.

This is a necessary step that will determine success of the transformation and long-term impact on organisational culture.

Change implementation happens through people, with middle management having a critical role. They require guidance and help in overcoming most common obstacles.

We assist by overseeing leadership accountability through transformation KPI framework, implementation coaching, structured feedback loops, adjusting course without losing momentum

This is where we craft change live, making it permanent.

Lasting change requires capability, not dependency. In the final phase, we focus on our apprentices within organisations, embedding change craft so it can continue without us.

This includes supporting the interplay between talent, culture and structure

We help organisations build the confidence, skills and systems required to sustain progress over time. Change becomes something the organisation owns.

In this way, we SPARK lasting change.

We crafted our SPARK method based on our professional experience and research, including what we observe and learn from experienced leaders.
